The heat of the day is bringing a warm breeze onto the porch. The clouds are moving in a line, forming great thunderheads. The worker is here helping us do a roof over. (We developed some major leaks in the bedroom earlier in the winter, and this project has been procrastinated long enough!)

My husband is standing by, assisting as he can, and making sure the worker is doing his job!)  Today, the big job was getting the roof air conditioner out.  It has found it's way to the ground, using ropes, and bungee cords, but I did hear a loud thud. (No screams or holler, so that's a plus.)  I now have a gaping hole in my kitchen.  That's not so bad really, in the grand scheme of things, but I do hope the storms predicted, will be going away from here and out to sea.  There are white caps forming on the lake right now, and breezes are increasing.
